We’ve been using our Yoto player for many years now, and it has been such a worthy investment for our family. Everyone in our house loves it.

When we first bought our Yoto player, I just grabbed some cards from the Yoto store. They were fun, but they also added up quickly. Ha!

Then I discovered this whole world of Make Your Own (MYO) Yoto cards. I could buy blank cards from the Yoto store, add my own audio, and suddenly there were so many more possibilities for what we could put on our Yoto. And, even better, it was much easier on the wallet.

I especially loved discovering that I could make our own Christian Yoto cards, because when we first started using Yoto, there were very few Christian options available.

While we still love making our own Yoto cards (and I have a whole guide dedicated to teaching you how to do it, too!), I have been so excited to see more and more Christian Yoto cards become available from independent creators and Christian publishers.

So today, I'm sharing the Christian Yoto cards we've actually used and loved in our home.

Christian Yoto Cards We Love

1. The Good Book Company

The Good Book Company has some amazing Yoto cards based on previously published books we already love in our home!

  • The Kingdom and the King Storybook Bible New Testament

  • The Kingdom and the King Storybook Bible Old Testament

  • Bible Stories Volume 1: The Christmas Promise & other stories

  • Bible Stories Volume 2: The Garden, the Curtain and the Cross & other stories

  • God’s Big Promises Bible Storybook: The New Testament

  • God’s Big Promises Bible Storybook: The Old Testament

2. Big Bible Stories for Little Hearts

Big Bible Stories is a collection of Bible story cards created with little listeners in mind, bringing the stories and promises of Scripture to life in a way that is playful, engaging, and easy for kids to come back to again and again.

  • The Old Testament

  • The New Testament

  • The Story of Christmas

  • The Story of Easter

They also have cards called Parables, Miracles, and The Fruit of the Spirit, which I haven’t listened to yet, but based on the other cards we have, I’m sure they are wonderful!

3. New Catechist Press

  • Catekids Volume 1: Scripture set to songs for easy bible memory! The first volume includes:

    1. Genesis 1:1
    2. John 3:16
    3. Matthew 22:37-39
    4. John 14:6
    5. Luke 19:10
    6. John 4:24
    7. Psalm 122:1
    8. John 1:1

4. Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope creates Bible books that bridge the gap between storybook bible and the real thing for kids ages 5-9. And now their beloved books of the Bible are on Yoto cards! These are the ones we own, but they have lots more!

  • The Saga of the Seed: The Story of Genesis

  • Finally Free: The Story of Exodus

  • Far From Home: The Story of Daniel

  • Promised Hope: The Gospel of Luke

5. Tiny Theologians

If there is a most frequently used Yoto card in our house, it would be one from Tiny Theologians. My kids love the Tiny Theologians podcast and they love being able to listen to the songs on their Yoto. Plus, you can add the Tiny Theologians podcast to a blank yoto card completely free (I show you how in my MYO Yoto guide!).

  • Sing the Truth with Mr. Truman Volume 1 (A-M ABCs of God’s attributes)

  • Sing the Truth with Mr. Truman Volume 2 (N-Z ABCs of God’s attributes)

  • Sing the Truth with Mr. Truman Volume 3 (A-M ABCs of names of God)

  • Sing the Truth with Mr. Truman Volume 4 (N-Z ABCs of names of God)

Make Your Own Christian Yoto Cards

If you’re looking to really create an incredible Christian yoto card library for your kids, combining the Christian Yoto cards available above with the ability to make your own cards is really where things start getting good.

Collection of Christian Yoto cards and Make Your Own cards arranged on a white countertop

One of the things I love about Yoto is that you can enjoy the Christian cards that are already available from independent creators and publishers, and you can make your own cards with audio that isn't available as a Yoto card.

We've made some of our favorite Christian Yoto cards ourselves, including cards featuring the Tiny Theologians podcast, Slugs & Bugs music, The Biggest Story Storybook Bible, Bible Bootcamp with Heidi Lee Anderson, The Green Ember series, and the Lithos Kids Collection.

Making your own cards opens up so many possibilities for the audio your kids already love, and it's especially fun when you find a favorite book, podcast, Bible resource, or music collection that you wish you could put on a Yoto card.

If you've been wanting to try Make Your Own cards but aren't sure where to start, I put everything I've learned from making our own cards into my Make Your Own Yoto Card Guide. It walks you through the process step-by-step and includes the practical information and resources you'll need to get started.
